NASA's Insite Lander lands on mars successfully  NASA's Mars lander lands safely on the surface of the Red planet on Monday to begin its two year mission as the first spacecraft design to explore the deep interior of another world . Confirmation of landing came through on cue at 1:23 am on Wednesday . It ended an fretful wait in which the robot radioed home a series of update on its descent. Nasa's mission control at California's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) erupted into cheers when it become clear insight was safe on the ground.

NASA announces Mars 2020 rover landing site After a five year search NASA has chosen Jezero crater delta , where the sediments contain clays and carbonates , as the landing site for its upcoming Mars 2020 rover mission . The crater was selected from more than 60 candidate locations which were studied , analysed and debated by the mission team and planetary science community. The US space agency's mission to place a next generation rover on the martian surface is scheduled to launch in July 2020 .  It will examine the planet for signs whether it was ever habitable and analyse the surface and beneath for accident microbial life.

Ishro says that GSAT-29 communications satellite pushed in to higher orbit India's latest communication satellite , GSAT-29,was pushed further upwards towards its intended spot on friday morning  ,the Indian Space Research Organigation (ISRO) said. At 5.08 p.m. on November 14,2018, ISRO lauched the communication satellite GSAT-29 on board its second developmental flight GSLV-MK   III D2  from the Satish Bhawan space center at Sriharikota. GSLV-MK   III :   It is a heavy lift lauch vehicle , measuring 43.494 m and weighing 640 tonnes.
